Donation Button
We are not affiliated with PayPal. However, if you qualify and so choose, a PayPal "Donate" button can be placed on your eMemorial so that visitors can contribute to your family on behalf of the deceased. A great way to help pay for funeral and related costs. To do this log into PayPal and create an account, then let us know your exact "email" as used in your account, and we will add a donate button for you. This relationship is strictly between you and PayPal we do not get involved in any disputes. After it is set up you should verify it.
Background Music
Music brings peace and depth to any memorial. We can custom record any requested hymn (*public domain). If we do not already have the hymn you select available, we will either obtain it for you, or produce a beautiful instrumental piece for your eMemorial at no charge.
We are not affiliated with CyberHymnal.org. However, you may peruse their hymns for help deciding which hymn to request. By the way CyberHymnal.org is a great site and it is free! Currently Playing "Whispering Hope".
Purchasing a CD at a store does not give you permission to use a song. You must own the copyright or a Royalty Free Licence to use the music or it must be in the public domain. If you have the right to use a particular piece of music, you may attach an .mp3 copy in an email to us along with a statement that you have the right to use the song and we will post it on your eMemorial.
Guest Book
A unique Guest Book may be included with each eMemorial at no charge. The Guest Book is a simple but practical design. Space is given the visitor to make a tribute or comment and leave email and URL links. For permanence the Guest Book is locally hosted and does not depend on a remote server or third party, this safety ensures the book survives as long as the eMemorial.
Fonts & Color
We use only the most basic font through out our site to ensure the widest permanence and compatibility with a variety of computer and browser software world wide. We suggest you do the same. Likewise we shy away from "flash" design in favor of .html to be search engine compatible. Basic colors such as red blue black white gray green yellow brown may be requested.
DNA eUrn
A DNA sample of the deceased can be digitized and emailed to us. We will then upload it to your eMemorial. For liability reasons we do not recommend any particular lab. But one can be found with a simple internet search.
Pre-Purchase
You may pre-arrange your own eMemorial. This relieves the burden place on loved ones after you are gone. It is also the best way to ensure your wishes. Who better but you to write your own Life Story? This will bring comfort and meaning to those you love, when they read your own words.
Media Player
If Slide Shows and Audio Features do not display properly on your computer, it may be because your browser needs a media player plug in. Quick Time is a free download and should improve your performance. After installation make Quick Time your default player.
Permanence
We are hosted by Yahoo! We chose Yahoo for reliability and unlimited band width. However, we also have the capacity to host and maintain internet presence from our own computers using Apache technology. Perpetual is our goal.
